Reading up on LMC LBVs I found HD 269216 = LMC V1577 reported as active (Walborn et al 2017AJ....154...15W) My observation of 9.7 vis mag means it certainly IS a new and active S Dor star. (Up until a few days ago it was a '108' sequence star.)
