It would certainly be appropriate to share our fond remembrances of him here. I worked closely with Kevin on Council and he was one of the most dedicated individuals we had. Besides being smart, funny, and a hard worker, Kevin was always interested in not only the organization but the individual people who make it up. He was a tireless volunteer and a delight to have casual conversation with. He will be deeply missed at the meeting this week and in the future.
I have been hanging around the AAVSO for approximately forty years and have had the great pleasure to meet and interact with many talented people. Kevin was someone who kept his focus on contributing to the greater good of the science and the organization. He couldn't be defined in any single category but touched and contributed to many aspirational efforts of the AAVSO. As a Councillor, he was thoughtful and reasonable instead of categorical. His attitude and approach was "How can I help?" and "How can I contribute to a better future for the AAVSO?"
I am very sad that he is no longer with us. Thankfully but not too surprsingly, he has left behind a better and more hopeful future for everyone who his life touched!
I won't be in Woburn for the meeting this week, but I will be standing up for a moment of silence to reflect on Kevin and his contributions to my life and others's. And I will continue to respect and reflect on that moment in the future.

Wow, really sad news, but it was great to have met Kevin and enjoy his excellent service to AAVSO, which can serve as part of his legacy.
Kev.
My condolences......
