Hello! I had an interesting hot pixel effect from my images of DY HER last night.

I took 60 images in each B,V,I filter over about 4 hours. I checked all the raw images discarded few that had poor tracking of focus problems

After I performed the photometry and uploaded the data, I noticed 5 data points in each filter during the same 20 minute time frame that were about 0.3 magnitudes dimmer than the baseline curve and formed a new shallow depression in the curve. Naturally, I got excited - something unusual was happening!

Of course, after checking the images, those 15 images had a hot pixel inside or just next to one of the comps, hence the unusual behavior.

I'm  not sure how to check raw images for such a problem. It was pretty subtle since the comp star made the hot pixel difficult to see. It just reinforces to me that I need to double check the data after upload and then go back to the actual images to see if an artifact occurred that made the photometry act weird. Best regards.
