Sorry for the fals alarm, but it seems there is an error in my new image processing shell-script and the two "sub-stacks" (or how to say it in english) were identical, this is why VaST marked a candidate. But processing the images with my old IRIS-szkript it revealed that the "stat" might be probably just a hot pixel, visible on different positions on the two "sub-stacks" .
So now I need to go back to the old, but slower method of using 2-2 IRIS-scripts then my old vendvast.sh script for transient search.
Hello Robert, Could you provide precise coords or name of the star in question, please?
