EPW EXOIC lightcurve submission

Mon, 06/17/2024 - 09:28

Hi, I just made my first lightcurve with EXOTIC and I have some questions about the submission form, about the 4 fields that need to be filled.

SITE -- Do I need to look up where the telescope's position was? Or my place because I didn't actually use the telescope?

EQUIPMENT -- Do I need to look up the type of telescope that was used? If so, wehre can I find this information? It's not in the README file from the raw transit data.

REPORT -- I already have this, it came out from EXOTIC. No questions here.

IMAGES -- I saw in a guide that you need to put an image of the starfield, with the selected target and comparison stars. I already have this too from EXOTIC.

If anyone here can help quickly, I'd be very thankful! (I only have 1 day left to upload this data...)

Hi. The SITE and EQUIPMENT…

Hi. The SITE and EQUIPMENT you'll find here:

https://exoplanets.nasa.gov/exoplanet-watch/how-to-contribute/how-to-submit-your-data/

Just type the same values where is asked for.

This procedure must be done if you used the MicroObservatory images. I don't know if it's the same when you report your own light curve.

If you have more doubts, let me know. Also, you can join the Slack community. :)

small clarification

The Site you use is the site where the telescope that observed is. If that's your personal telescope in your backyard, then that is the location, if you used a remote telescope somewhre then that is what you input. The same is true for the telescope being used.
