New CV

An new CV was discovered on 2016-06-08T05:35:56 UTC with a magnitude of 13.2 unfiltered.  The projenitor is listed in SDSS9 as J140203.08+461333.8.  We measured the projenitor mag 20.1 unfiltered.  There has been no reported outbursts in VizieR or SIMBAD and has not been observed in our continous monitoring over the last 10 years.  More details and spectra made the following night can be found on the TNS https://wis-tns.weizmann.ac.il/object/2016csm.

UGSU CV type?

UGSU CV type?

I see many similarities between this new transient and a typical dwarf novae (UGSU). I appreciate any qualification on this assessment. Attached both spectra (first: new transient, second: QU Aqr -UGSU type CV-).

Really is a very blue star.
