This star is listed as Type: Microlens.
I read this in https://www.aavso.org/vsx/index.php?view=about.vartypes.
"Microlensing events, which are a kind of extrinsic variables that, like supernovae, are a once in a lifetime event, and the star won't be observed as variable again."
So please could someone confirm that it is a waste of time observing this star.
Thanks
Stephen [HSP]
That's correct, Stephen.
The star won't show variations again, it is a normal solar-type dwarf.
See that this kind of object is classified as N (Non-variable) in VSX.
Cheers,
Sebastian
