Newbie. I’ve often marveled how radio astronomy is able to discern the various elements at differing wavelengths. What I want to know is if a radio telescope can broadcast at a certain wavelength? For instance, can an element’s wavelength be broadcast through a radio telescope? As an example, if the wavelength of carbon dioxide is aimed at a flame or fire could it be extinguished? Also, when it comes to tornadoes and hurricanes, if the wavelengths of air and or water molecules are transmitted could that be enough to disrupt the atoms and ions so that the winds are dissipated? Just wondering. #thinkingoutsidethebox. #nobelpeaceprize.
