Hello,

Can someone tell my if it is possible to download FITS images from TESS (through MAST) and process them in AstroImage J to generate the light curves?

This would be done after the TIC ID was vetted out to make sure it would be a possible exoplanet candidate.

I saw that using Lightkurve that entire sectors of data were being brought into it and I was wondering if this all of these FITS files in these sectors could be downloaded.

I am not sure how to handle the fact that there may be no Darks, Flats or Bias for TESS FITS images (unless there are and I cannot find them) and not having these does this make using Astroimage J unable to create a lightcurve?

I am very very new at this so forgive my ignorance on this subject.

But I am learning it. :)

Thanks,

Tom Mihelich
