There has been a mixed bag of success and failure this month!  Hopefully, next month will be better.  Cliff Kotnick has made some major improvements in the pipeline processing.  The various engineering files at

http://images.aavsonet.aavso.org/

have been improved and extended, with a zoom of the central portion of each window and flat ratios with prior master flats to look for defects in the current flats.  George Silvis continues to work with Diffraction Limited on using the dual filter wheel within MaximDL.  Ken Menzies has been creating many new plans for researchers.

BSM_Berry.  This system is now operational, with the AT72 astrographic refractor and the ZWO ASI183mm-pro CMOS camera.

BSM_Hamren.  Gary Walker has spearheaded the shipping of this system to Hawaii, along with the help of Kathy Spirer.  It should be shipped within a couple of days.  Aaron Sliski will be in Hawaii when it arrives, and will help in getting it installed.

BSM_NH2.  Fully operational.  We continue to test the dual filter wheel configuration, but things look promising.  A few nights in January will be used for testing the engineered diffuser, the SA200 diffraction grating, and some neutral density filters.

BSM_NM.  Fully operational.

BSM_S. Now operational with the AT72 astrograph and the ZWO CMOS camera.

BSM_TX.  We had a minor issue of the focuser slipping.  It has now been tightened, and we hope that will solve the problem.  Otherwise, fully operational.

OC61.  This system has been having problems.  The sensor now has moisture on it, which seems to flatten.  The telescope drive continues to be flaky.  Replacements will be sent soon.

SRO.  The STL-6303 camera appears to be failing.  This will be sent to SBIG for repairs.  We may install a temporary ST10-XME camera while waiting for the return of the main camera.  In the meantime, the system is off-line.

TMO61.  This system is fully operational again with its original QSI-583 camera.  A replacement QHY600 camera will be installed sometime soon.

Now that BSM_S is operational, maybe you could start again sending me images of S Dor for processing through VPhot?

Hi Paul,

This target should be in the queue, but it may be a few days until sufficient clear weather enables both imaging the field as well as the acquisition of flats.

Will you be sending me images of S Dor again soon? or do you have someone else to process these imagers now?
