This year we are celebrating the AAVSO's 110 years of foundation, with a rich monthly schedule of online events, webinars, and how-to hours that are available free to you all. Through them, we celebrate AAVSO science outcomes, observing sections and new projects, and introduce components of variable star astronomy to novice observers. We are impressed by the community's response and enthusiastic attendance by individuals all over the world!
Considering the breadth of those activities, we will not have a separate AAVSO spring meeting this year. Instead, we are planning to have a presence at the June SAS virtual meeting, which is taking place on June 15, 19 and 22. Please join us to discuss the AAVSO's progress in 2021 and our plans for a new decade of "enabling anyone anywhere to participate in scientific discovery through variable star astronomy."
