LcTools: software for a different type of TESS data-mining
At the workshop, we focused on how you can use TESS to study individual stars of interest. However, LcTools (a Windows-based program written by Al Schmidt) enables you to search for interesting signals in large numbers of light curves (including those from TESS). If you're interested, have a look at Al's AAVSO forum post about LcTools.
Unfortunately i missed doing the data-mining workshop. It would be really helpful if someone can share details of any upcoming workshops. I couldnt find any on the website.
