This year we are closing the 108th AAVSO Annual Meeting with a field trip on October 21st to both the Apache Point Observatory and Sack Peak Observatory in Sunspot, NM.
Even though we are months out from the meeting we need to reserve tour times at both sites, plan for lunch catering for the trip and secure the right size bus to transport everyone to the sites. This week a Survey Monkey will be sent to all AAVSO members asking just 4 four questions about your plans for the Annual Meeting. Please respond so I have a good idea of what to to tell the APO and SPO as regards tour numbers.
UPDATE: 65% of our room block is already booked so please go online this week and reserve your room if you plan to attend the annual meeting in Las Cruces. Basic details on the meeting can be found at this link to help you plan your stay.
