Hello all fellow VSO & imagers,
I have decided to keep my 41cm as my visual observing scope, rather than upgrade to this excellent 20". It has an exceptional figure, free from any significant defects, Strehl in the upper 0.9's. I'm sure it would make an outstanding wider-field CCD scope as well, with its fast focal ratio, when used with a parabolic corrector. A new addition to AAVSONet?
At 37mm thick, quite a lightweight mirror. Needs to be coated and is presently located in Hawaii. I'm asking $3900 for it, which is quite a steal for this class of optic. Let me know, and maybe we can work out the details? Thanks!
