We are in desperate need of several DSLR mentors for AAVSO Mentor Program. The future of the AAVSO rests on the quality of our observations. New observers who are mentored by seasoned mentors tend to get up to speed faster than than those who try an teach themselves DSLR photometry. If you are willing to give a few hours a week to mentor one of the new AAVSO members in the subtleties of DSLR photometry, please send me an email at mentor@aavso.org.

Good morning.
I have been producing a series of videos in Spanish on photometry with DSLR and webcam. although protocols are slightly different, and for this I developed a particular software (RGB FotoCalc), could be useful, although I repeat, they are in Spanish. I think video tutorials can be an interesting and very viable alternative.
