IBVS 6097 on a recently discovered eclipsing cataclysmic variable
We report the discovery of CzeV404 - eclipsing SU UMa-type cataclysmic
variable star with an orbital period inside the period gap. Using photometric
observations taken during 15 nights from June to September 2012 and 8 nights
from July to August 2013 we determined an orbital period of 2.35 hours and
superhump period of 2.50 hours. From the observed period excess, the
estimated mass ratio of the system is q = 0.30.
