Last night I entered a telescope in VPHOT. I named it Sabine Observatory. Well, I didn't do it right and did another one (Sabine Obs-2) because it wouldn't let me edit or delete the first one.
I think I'm having the same issue. I added a new scope called BGO, which is now greyed out & I can't edit it.
But there isn't any checkbox to select/ deselect common telescope on the 'Create new Telescope Setup' page. Please let me know how I can share a screenshot of the page, as it seems I can't attach a image/ file to this post for some reason.
Darrell:
You had common telescope (at bottom) checked. You should actually not be able to do this but there is a bug.
As admin, I deleted this scope.
Set one up again BUT make sure common scope is not checked.

Divye,
Did you copy another existing common scope to create your own scope?
Email me at kenmenstar@gmail.com to include an attachment.

Thanks for sharing your email address, Ken!
I shared the details with you.
And no, I clicked 'Create a New Telescope Profile' without checking the option 'Create new by copying'.

Divye
