Hello,
I am working on a project to find out transforms between SDSS (ugriz) and DSLR (RGB) filters under guidance of Dr. Varun from IUCAA, India.
The successful completion of project will help amateurs like us to do photometry with inexpensive DSLRs (compared to CCD) and yet compare with the data of one of the bigesst sky surveys, SDSS.
However, as the rainy season has started here in India, I am not able to get data. The skies will continue to remain cloudy for about 3 months from now.
But I need to finish the project early due to academic constraints.
For the project I need some data in form of RAW/.fits RGB images taken from DSLR using either a telescope or telephoto lens along with the corresponding flats and darks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would be immensely obliged to have it.
Full credits for the data will be clearly given in the project.
Regards,
Nilay.
