Hello Everyone,
I've done time-series photometry on two polars with very high amplitudes of variability over the course of their orbital periods. When at minimum, these objects are undetectable with my equipment, so I can only report fainter-than observations for parts of their light curves. Is it possible to submit fainter-than observations in a datafile? I've got several hundred of these fainter-than measurements interspersed in my light curves, so uploading them one-by-one would be a huge chore.
Best Regards,
Colin
Submitting fainter-thans in a file is simple: just put a < in front of the magnitude.
For future reference, this page gives a complete overview of all the options for uploading files in Extended format.
Hi Will,
Thanks! I just realized that my problem was that I had used a > instead of a <. I appreciate your help.
Best Regards,
Colin
