I've been observing this one for a few years now. It's a highly atypical CV with very fast and apparently continuous outbursts though these are also atypical. I really feel this is the type of object which needs a dedicated campaign rather as has been done from time to time with flare stars. I usually observe it 3 or 4 times a night and have caught the occasional half-magnitude surge (it has very good comp stars).

What do we think about AE Aqr? Is it worth observing visually at all?
