AAVSOnet uers - please take note and let me know your thoughts.

I am in the process of cleaning up old images stored on the AAVSOnet HQ computer.  We store images in an FTP accessible directory and presently have no regular purge.  Many AAVSOnet users just use the images we send to VPhot and may be unaware we also store images on this FTP server.  What I am addressing here is independent of VPhot image storage.

I am developing a purge for the FTP storage and would like to here your thoughts on the retention period.  I was thinking about one year.  Does this seem reasonable?

thanks in advance for your input,

Cliff

Re: storage

I don't use VPhot and download my images from the FTP space all the time.   Twelve months seems a very reasonable time period to retain the images.
