1 Wunder, Edgar Based on data from 2003 to 2020 a 9.34-year (=3411 days) Blazhko modulation period in V Equulei is established. The alleged 320-day Blazhko period suspected by Greer et al. (2017) is an artefact. In the most extreme phases of the Blazhko cycle the magnitude of the star varies between V=14.40 and 15.70, or V=14.95 to 15.35, respectively. Therefore the amplitude of the Blazhko modulation in V Equulei is 0.9 mag in V-band. Additionally three sudden changes of the fundamental pulsation period of V Equulei are detected in 2007, 2012 and 2016.
2 2017A&A...607A..11G Detected Blazhko period 320.5 d. (2017A&A...607A..11G).
