I'm working through the transform method and I've now got what look like sensible values for the coefficients. I wanted to see how it would work out so I took two standard stars from a standard field (SA32). Nominated one as target and one as reference. Did the transform and got what seems like a reasonable result. The photometry data for the star gave V=9.317 and B-V=1.159. I got V= 9.325 and B-V=1.182   Is that an OK result?

Steve,

I'm not sure how you did your transformation, but the absolute difference between your observed (O) and the known (K) is abs(O-K) = 0.008, so you are withing 0.01 of the standard star magnitude. You are "OK" on magnitude.
