Mewlon 250mm f15 EP 288x - A nice target to follow.

Does target have AUID?
AUID probably not yet but progenitor likely to be Gaia G mag 20.2 star (Gaia DR3 1857057959447151616)

An ATel now suggests this is a WZ Sge-type dwarf nova outburst:

Is anyone observing this object? I have a few nights of it early on... Is there any interest?
Jim (DEY)
Yes I do, weather permit ofcourse, but it looks that I'm the only visual observer in our DataBase ???
Just uploaded my back-log of BVRI photometry on this object. Nice slow decline typical of a WZ Sge type star as proposed by others.
Surprised at the lack of interest.
Jim (DEY)
My first guess at a super-hump period from my CV time-series gives 0.056 days (about 80 minutes).with an amplitude of 0.13 magnitude.
Is it real or is it Memorex?
Jim (DEY)
This star has just gone thru a dip in magnitude of about 3 magnitudes and has now recovered back to the original decline trend magnitude. Looks like a UGWZ light curve.
