The AAVSO and the SuperNova Early Warning System team (SNEWS) are partnering to monitor bright potential supernova progenitors. The targets are broadly distributed across the sky and all types of observing may be used, so this exciting campaign offers any interested observer the opportunity to contribute.

Details about the campaign and information about targets, charts, comparison stars, observing instructions, and reporting observations to the AAVSO International Database are given on the SNEWS Campaign webpage.

The online discussion forum thread given above has been created for all conversation, questions, and updates related to the campaign.

Join in this unique campaign - be part of history in helping track these potential supernovae!
